There are several things "off" with President Obama's proclamation of "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride Month, 2009" - the main transgression being that it isn't pleasing to God, which is the bottom line. Certainly, this is part of the reason why many have chosen not to "believe" in God (which doesn't change the fact that more than 300 Bible prophecies have already come true and continue to unfold before our very eyes). But for a "Christian" President of the United States to openly proclaim to be "proud to be the first President to appoint openly LGBT candidates" and to insist, "These individuals embody the best qualities we seek in public servants," is nothing short of blasphemy.

While it's true that LGBT Americans may have made "great and lasting contribution" etc., the heart of the matter is that God said the act of homosexual sex is an abomination. That is the part we CANNOT get around!

It's extremely sad that some people feel attracted to the same sex. God only knows how many have committed suicide because they were lonely and confused and angry about their plight. Most pastors and rabbis never point out that the culprit is NOT God, but our "fallen world"; He didn't "make" anyone gay (why would He, only turn around and call it an abomination?

Leviticus 18: 22 - You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.

The thing is, man has been prone to sickeness, disease and death, etc., ever since Adam and Eve got kicked out of the Garden of Eden. We live in a fallen world. That is why some are born blind, deaf, handicapped or "gay."

Sex is a natural part of life; we all crave it. But, that doesn't negate the fact that YHWH (Yahweh/The Creator) has certain rules for us to follow. Among them is to be sexually pure - ALL of us, not just "gays" and lesbians:

Adultery: Exodus 20: 14 "You shall not commit adultery."

Sexual immorality: 1 Corinthians 6: 9-10 "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Thessalonians 4: 3 For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality....

Homosexuality: Leviticus 18: 22 - You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.

1 Corinthians 6: - 9 Don't you know that unrighteous people will have no share in the Kingdom of God? Don't delude yourselves - people who engage in sex before marriage, who worship idols, who engage in sex after marriage with someone other than their spouse, who engage in active or passive homosexuality, 10 who steal, who are greedy, who get drunk, who assail people with contemptuous language, who rob - none of them will share in the Kingdom of God.

Revelation 22: 14 How blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they have the right to eat from the Tree of Life and go through the gates into the city! 15 Outside are the homosexuals, those who misuse drugs in connection with the occult, the sexually immoral, murderers, idol-worshippers, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

Romans 1: 22 Claiming to be wise, they have become fools! 23 In fact, they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for mere images, like a mortal human being, or like birds, animals or reptiles! 24 This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts' lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other's bodies. 25 They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshiping and serving created things, rather than the Creator - praised be he for ever. Amen. 26 This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural; 27 and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion. 28 In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things. 29 They are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and vice; stuffed with jealousy, murder, quarreling, dishonesty and ill-will; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God; they are insolent, arrogant and boastful; they plan evil schemes; they disobey their parents; 31 they are brainless, faithless, heartless and ruthless. 32 They know well enough God's righteous decree that people who do such things deserve to die; yet not only do they keep doing them, but they applaud others who do the same.

It is actually quite commendable that some choose to have "gender reassignments" in hopes to "feel more normal" and to be able to live their lives away from a "gay" lifestyle. But is it right in the eyes of God? Who knows? The Bible doesn't say, since this phenomenon (like abortion) didn't exist when the Bible was written)....The only way we can gauge this is by the scripture references we DO have, such as the ones that tell us not to murder, and that we are to be sexually pure, etc....

One has to ask themselves whether President Obama was correct in his assertion that it is commendable that "LGBT Americans also mobilized the Nation to respond to the domestic HIV/AIDS epidemic and have played a vital role in broadening this country's response to the HIV pandemic" - especially since AIDS and HIV in the United States began with homosexuals....That's sort of like a parent trying to kill a child in a fit of rage, and then turning around to tell that now-crippled and blinded child, "I'm doing everything possible to take care of you!" Can that really be called "commendable"? Yes and no....

UNBELIEVABLE! These individuals embody the best qualities we seek in public servants....

In other words, it doesn't matter that they are purposely sinning; heck - we can pick and choose what we want to believe of the Scriptures!

Since the President has decided that certain sins aren't sins, let's get real and graphic, and maybe he will begin to understand that Gay men don't just engage in oral sex; they also have anal intercourse - sticking their private parts and fingers into a place whose only purpose is to excrete human waste and toxins. These acts are not only SICKENING, but the perpetrators run the risk of contracting infection and disease caused by the deadly e-coli bacteria. No matter how one attempts to justify it, whenever someone is having anal intercourse, they are guilty of touching the most unclean, bateria-infested part of a human body!

Our Creator who gave us His Torah (divine instructions in righteousness) said a person was guilty of sinning when touching "human uncleanness" (which, until Yeshua's (Jesus) death on man's behalf, resulted in the killing of an innocent animal to atone for any heinous sins!)....

Leviticus 5: 3 If he touches some human uncleanness, no matter what the source of his uncleanness is, and is unaware of it, then, when he learns of it, he is guilty.

Granted, most people probably couldn't care less about God, let alone bother to obey Him. But that is actually irrelevant in the grand scheme of things because there IS a Judgment Day when all of us (believers and unbelievers alike) WILL be standing before Him to discuss our lives on Earth. The reason we can be sure of this is because hundreds of Bible prophecies have already come to pass (see Accurate Messiah Prophecies), and there are but a few more to go as four of the seven Biblical Feasts have already been fulfilled - with just three more left.

It is correct that no one should be harassed by others for their beliefs, etc. NOBODY has the right to harass ANYONE for ANY reason! As believers we have a duty to tell others when they are guilty of transgressing the Torah, but nowhere are we told to "harass" people. We are told to tell them once, and then again with a witness, and if they still refuse to "straighten up" then we're supposed to leave them alone.

Matthew 18: 15. And if your brother with you is at fault, go rebuke him, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won your brother. 16. And if he does not listen to you, take with you one or two others, because of the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word is established. 17. And if he will also not listen to them, tell the congregation. And if he will also not listen to the congregation, let him be to you like a tax collector and like a heathen.

In other words, let him be and have nothing further to do with him. His transgression ultimately is between him/her and God.

The bottom line is that GOD declared homosexuality to be an "abomination." So, the isue is not whether or not someone has a right in this world to be "gay" but, rather, is it MORALLY correct in God's eyes?

We can't pick and choose what we want to believe in the Bible. God gave us a CLEAR outline on WHO is is; HOW we are to worship Him, HOW we are to treat each other according to HIS will; and that He sent us His Son to be our Final SIN Sacrifice. But just because Yeshua died to offer us eternal life does NOT mean we can sin at will. Why? Because we are told there is no sin sacrifice for continued and deliberate sinning:

Hebrews 10: 26 For if we deliberately continue to sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but only the terrifying prospect of Judgment, or raging fire that will consume the enemies.

Mr. President, since you've suggested it's okay to go ignore God's commandment NOT to "be unclean" before Him, would you mind also - as ridiculous as it sounds - decreeing that other sins can now be ignored? Perhaps you should institute a national "murderer's month" or a "pedophile month"? How about a national "abortion month"?

Sin is sin and if you're going to laud one group of sinners, you'll have to make concessions for others! You might as well declare that all other sins are now "legal" according to MAN because the damage has been done....
