The following e-mail was sent to the website "Table of the Remnant".

This website asserts that their pictures of Jesus, "taken from the Shroud of Turin", laminated, and sent all over the world, have some sort of magical powers and can change people's lives: "The Holy Spirit has promised that His presence will be with each of these pictures of Jesus. When people look into Jesus' face they see something that they never see any other time; love without sin. All of us were created by God. All DNA came from Him. This is why the Father said that no one who looks at this picture of Jesus would be unaffected in their spirit, whether Christian, or Muslim, Jew, or Atheist. The Father is right. Some have said that love radiates from His face. Many have said that they feel Jesus' presence and His love as they look at Him. Others said that they feel like they are a part of His family when they look into His eyes. Some have heard Him speak, as they looked at Him...."

The many "off-the-mark" and unbiblical assertions on this website literally made me cringe!!!

Char,

I realize that you are desperate to bring the Gospel to the world, but I'd like to bring to your attention that your "Jesus picture" is totally unbiblical, because God commands us not to have images of Him:

Deut 4:15-16 - "So watch yourselves carefully, since you did not see any form on the day the LORD spoke to you at Horeb from the midst of the fire, so that you do not act corruptly and make a graven image for yourselves in the form of any figure, the likeness of male or female....

Your site says: "This is why the Father said that no one who looks at this picture of Jesus would be unaffected in their spirit, whether Christian, or Muslim, Jew, or Atheist. The Father is right. Some have said that love radiates from His face. Many have said that they feel Jesus' presence and His love as they look at Him. Others said that they feel like they are a part of His family when they look into His eyes. Some have heard Him speak, as they looked at Him. Add your testimony as you pass out the pictures of Jesus."

To assert that your pictures have special powers sounds superstitious. I personally feel NOTHING when I look at those pictures of Jesus, because it isn't Him! I'd love to believe that, that is what He looked like, but those pictures are nothing more than YOUR REPRESENTATION of Him, and therefore, this whole thing is a lie. There is no description of Jesus anywhere in the Bible, and if something cannot be verified in the Bible, then it's a lie that needs to be examined very carefully. These pictures of yours are TOTALLY man-made made. NOBODY knows what Jesus looked like, including you. NOBODY can say for CERTAIN that the Shroud of Turin absolutely, positively, beyond a shadow of a doubt belonged to Jesus! If He had wanted us to know exactly what He looked like, then He would have told us somewhere in the Bible.

There was a reason for Jesus' being born at a time when there were no Polaroids around - and among those reasons is, we are to walk by faith and not our carnal desires, ideologies, and prejudices - such as color and creed and all the other man-made thing people have killed each other over....

Again, just like your "Sounds from Hell", which you are trying to pass off as real as well - this is just another UNPROVEN and UNBIBLICAL scam on your part. You are pushing lies and deceiving people! I beg you to cease and repent immediately for your sin of deceiving the world....
