World leaders and God's "end-times" scenario

NewsMax and other web news organizations recently presented an article called Lawmakers Seek Review of Dubai Ports World Deal . This article outlines how "U.S. lawmakers formally asked the Bush administration to reconsider its approval of a sale giving a company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) control over significant operations at six major American ports...Critics complained that control over port operations by DP World could endanger U.S. security....They cited the UAE's history as an operational and financial base for the hijackers who carried out the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks against New York and Washington".

I've been wracking my brains in order to figure out the reasons for some of President Bush's decisions over the last couple of years, such as the above (if, in fact it's true). He's been involved in some real doozies during his tenure, especially whenever it concerned Israel and the Jews. I'm still reeling over the fact that he supported - and was actually instrumental in the "Gaza Disengagement" which uprooted thousands of Jews by basically dumping them into the street, homeless. During that whole time I kept thinking: "Does this supposed Christian not know what the Bible says about God's "chosen people", or dividing Israel, His land?

Genesis 12:3 - "I will make you into a great nation and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you."

Deuteronomy 7:6-8: For you are a people set apart as holy for ADONAI your God. ADONAI your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his own unique treasure. 7 ADONAI didn't set his heart on you or choose you because you numbered more than any other people - on the contrary, you were the fewest of all peoples. 8 Rather, it was because ADONAI loved you, and because he wanted to keep the oath which he had sworn to your ancestors, that ADONAI brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from a life of slavery under the hand of Pharoah king of Egypt.

The God of Israel says that He will bring to judgment those nations that divide the land of Israel:

Joel 3: 1 "For behold, in those days and at that time, when I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will also gather all nations, and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of My people, My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; they have also divided up My land. 3 They have cast lots for My people, have given a boy in exchange for a harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they may drink.

Of course, Bush isn't the only U.S. President to have made strange decisions. Jimmy Carter who sold off the Panama Canal (and now a firm from China is controlling the canal) was recently quoted as saying, "Give Hamas a chance" and "the U.S. should not cut off aid to Palestinians". China bought an ex-U.S. military base in California and gave our missile and submarine guidance systems over to them with Bill Clinton on watch (while his wife, Senator Hillary Clinton "has met repeatedly" over the years with "groups that had openly supported Hamas, Hezbollah and other foreign terrorist organizations." And let's not forget that Ronald Reagan opened official recognition to the Vatican by setting up an embassy - and, in the meantime, the Roman Catholic Church has begun to insist that their church has replaced the Jews in God's plans and they want the Arabs to rule over Israel!

And now the President of the United States wants to hand over to the enemy control of significant operations at six major American ports? If this is indeed true, then the only thing left to do is to shake our heads and continue praying for GOD'S will to be done (because, when all is said and done, God's Will is actually what this is all about).

George W. Bush is 100 percent ignorant of Bible prophecy concerning the Jews, Israel and the church because his family is Episcopalian and he is a United Methodist - two church groups that are openly anti-Israel and ignorant of Bible prophecy. He won the election the first time because he was a "Christian" and many of us thought he would adhere to the Bible and do God's Word in spite of the many "political pressures" of this "politically correct" world. Unfortunately, there are many denominations of "Christianity" and most of their adherents wouldn't recognize God's Word if they fell on it.

Proverbs 21: 1 The king's heart in ADONAI'S hand is like streams of water - He directs it wherever he pleases.

Judging by decisions of rulers and leaders worldwide, and judging by the resulting events that are unfolding because of their decisions, it has become crystal clear that ALL earthly rulers are under God's guiding hand. God is using man's decisions to bring about His "end times" scenario - and the world needs to know He is using world leaders and the Spirit of Islam to make this end times scenario happen. The Muslims are right on cue as far as Biblical prophecy goes.

EVERYTHING is coming to pass just exactly as the Bible has promised and we are now just a couple of minutes before midnight, awaiting the Second Coming! Our Lord God is omnipotent and our Great King (Yeshua) rules over all the "kings" of the earth. God promised He has all things under His control and we are resting in His everlasting arms. Psalm 2 even tells us that God is laughing at mankind's stupidity!

For those who don't know what God's "end times" scenario is, please take a look at some recent and future Bible prophecy - specifically, the predicted order of prophetic events as they relate to Israel:

  • The holocaust and suffering of Jews in Germany in World War II led to worldwide sympathy for a homeland for the Jews.

  • United Nations recognized Israel as a nation and allowed 5,000 square miles of territory, excluding ancient Jerusalem in 1948. (This was predicted in Isaiah 66:7-8. The rebirth of Israel happened in "one day" just as the Bible prophesied!)

  • Israel, though immediately attacked by those nations surrounding her, achieved increases in territory in subsequent wars.

  • Israel made amazing strides forward in reestablishing her land, its agriculture, industries, and political power. (See Whose land is it? and Twenty Facts About Israel.)

  • Arab power opposing Israel was sufficient to keep Israel from having peaceful coexistence with other nations in the Middle East. The resulting ever-growing anti-Semitism is proof of that, as is the rise of Muslim influence in the entire world. Muslims have hated the Jews since time immemmorial and using, among other things, suicide bombers to kill innocent Israelis, they make it plain that Jews should be completely annihilated. (Pretty gutsy for a people who was kicked out of other Arab lands and ALLOWED to live in Israel when no one else wanted them! Now, they're claiming The Land is theirs...) The Bible tells us that many believers in Messiah will be beheaded for their belief and the Muslims are the ONLY people in the world who still behead - and they have already started! (See The Conflict Between Jews and Arabs started in Biblical Times.)

  • The "Antichrist" will make a 7-year covenant of "peace" with Israel (Isaiah 28:18; Daniel 9:27).

  • The Temple will be rebuilt (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:15; 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4; Revelation 11:1).

  • 144,000 Jewish evangelists will be converted and called to preach and witness during the seven year period, which is being referred to as "the Tribulation" (Revelation 7:1-4; Matthew 24:14).

  • Israel will be invaded (Ezekiel chapters 38-39) and the Antichrist will break his covenant with Israel. Worldwide persecution of Israel will result (Daniel 9:27; 12:1, 11; Zechariah 11:16; Matthew 24:15, 21; Revelation 12:13).

  • Israel will eventually recognize Yeshua as her long-awaited Messiah (Zechariah 12:10) and she will be restored and God's people regathered (Jeremiah 33:8; Ezekiel 11:17).
  • The second coming of Messiah will rescue persecuted Jews and Gentiles and bring judgment upon all wickedness on earth and on the unbelievers. The promised kingdom on earth begins with Yeshua as Israel's Messiah.

  • For 1,000 years Israel will experience unusual blessing as the object of Christ's favor.

  • With the end of the millennial kingdom and the destruction of the present earth, godly Israel has its place in the eternal state and the new heaven and the new earth.

Since more than 300 Bible prophecies have already come true and are unfolding before our eyes right now, what would make anyone think that the REST won't happen?
