It seems that some traditional Jews don't understand that the Word of God is FOREVER, as evidenced by the Rabbinical Assembly Committee on Jewish Law and Standards who have apparently decided to become "politically correct" about homosexual issues. Reading their decision (as reported by Reuter's) we were wondering what part of "abomination" and "detestable" was too hard to understand? The Refiner's Fire sent them the following e-mail:

Dear Rabbis,

Concerning the Dec. 6, 2006 Reuters article, "Conservative Jewish Group OKs Gay Rabbis", SHAME ON YOU! You are rabbis who supposedly know the Tanach. You know what G-d says about homosexuality! And He said it for a reason.....

Leviticus 18: 22 "You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.

Leviticus 20: 13 "If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable."

Deuteronomy 22: 5 "A woman is not to wear men's clothing, and a man is not to put on women's clothing, for whoever does these things is detestable to ADONAI your God.

Ecclesiates 12: 14 For God will bring every act to judgment, everything which is hidden, whether it is good or evil.

Regardless as to how one tries to color it, sin is sin and - according to the above - homosexual acts are SIN!
