The Refiner's Fire is not here to judge homosexuals. If someone thinks they're "gay", fine; God gives us all choices, and He is the ultimate Judge. However, as the Bible clearly shows, homosexuality is not, and cannot be sanctioned by God because it is SIN. One cannot be a practicing homosexual and claim to belong to God, at the same time. We are here to warn those who are living in sin of any kind, that they WILL answer to God on Judgment Day - no matter how much they attempt to twist the Scriptures in order to suit their lifestyles!

Yahweh gave us His Torah as a measuring stick to help us distinguish right from wrong (1 John 3:4)! Whether or not you feel you are "gay" by choice or by birth, God makes it abundantly clear that homosexuality is "an abomination" to Him.

Leviticus 18: 22 - You are not to go to bed with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.

Romans 1: 22 Claiming to be wise, they have become fools! 23 In fact, they have exchanged the glory of the immortal God for mere images, like a mortal human being, or like birds, animals or reptiles! 24 This is why God has given them up to the vileness of their hearts' lusts, to the shameful misuse of each other's bodies. 25 They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshiping and serving created things, rather than the Creator - praised be he for ever. Amen. 26 This is why God has given them up to degrading passions; so that their women exchange natural sexual relations for unnatural; 27 and likewise the men, giving up natural relations with the opposite sex, burn with passion for one another, men committing shameful acts with other men and receiving in their own persons the penalty appropriate to their perversion.

28 In other words, since they have not considered God worth knowing, God has given them up to worthless ways of thinking; so that they do improper things. 29 They are filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and vice; stuffed with jealousy, murder, quarreling, dishonesty and ill-will; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God; they are insolent, arrogant and boastful; they plan evil schemes; they disobey their parents; 31 they are brainless, faithless, heartless and ruthless. 32 They know well enough God's righteous decree that people who do such things deserve to die; yet not only do they keep doing them, but they applaud others who do the same.

There are many homosexuals in this world. Many of them are struggling with their identities. Some are confused and unhappy; while others have decided to "come out of the closet" and be who they are, regardless of the consequences. The latter, unfortunately, include high-profile television and movie personalities who use their positions to force their agendas on their viewing audiences. These people have perpetrated immense damage upon the world as a whole by portraying homosexuality as "normal" and pushing for its carte blanche acceptance.

Hollywood and its "celebrities" have been THE major driving force behind the "gay agenda" which insists on forcing the rest of the world to accept as "normal" something that our CREATOR calls an "abomination!" (See Deuteronomy 22:5; Leviticus 18:22 and Romans 1: 22-32 - to mention just a few).

So, to fight back against Hollywood and anyone who's out there calling "evil" "good", let's just get real and BIBLICAL!

First and foremost, people need to quit twisting words to fit with their agendas! For instance, it is irrelevant that the word, "homosexuality" wasn't used in the ancient texts (which some are using to "prove" that "homosexuality" is NOT wrong because the word is not in Scripture). The indelible fact remains that God made His feelings CLEAR about same-sex relations! Today having same-sex relations is referred to as "homosexuality" ... no matter whether it's male-on-male or female-on-female. And just like in ancient times when humankind was first created, sex was created for procreation by male and female partners. GOD'S WORD SAYS SO!

YHWH commanded mankind - "male and female" who were made "in His Image" and He commanded them to "be fruitful and multiply" (Genesis 1:27-28 and 9:7). Homosexual acts purposely squelch that IMAGE, as the purpose of sex is reproduction - which was made pleasurable so that people would WANT to "reproduce". (It was NOT made so that people could go crazy with their "free will" and decide on a daily basis on "which sex" they wanted to be, or to have casual, on-demand heterosexual or same-sex relations, as seems to be the norm today!) Sex an INTIMATE act that makes us "echad" (ONE); and in the realm of pure holiness (which is God's goal for HIS people), it is impossible to be "ONE" with myriad sex partners.

Unfortunately, mankind has ALWAYS strayed from the "holy" - even right from the very beginning when we see the first case of adultery in Cain's son, Lemekh (Genesis 4:19), who "took two wives for himself."

Sorry about the following graphic description, but the men who are engaging in anal sex for the pleasure of having an orgasm, are "wasting their sperm" and disobeying the command to "be fruitful and multiply." (And that doesn't even touch on the Levitical commands to refrain from touching anything "unclean" ...and let's face it, the colon is the filthiest organ in the body, used for the purpose of excreting the body's waste material; it was certainly NOT designed for use in the reproduction of "YHWH's Image!")

Same goes for women who "prefer the lesbian lifestyle" as they are selfishly REJECTING the REPRODUCTION of YHWH's Image - and that is nothing to be taken lightly.

While it is no surprise to find such perversion coming out of godless, decadent Hollywood and its godless celebrities, it is downright shocking and an absolute abomination to discover priests and pastors - supposed people of God - jumping on the "coming out of the closet" bandwagon - with the blessing of their respective churches, no less! It is gut wrenching to see these gays and lesbians stand in front of the television cameras and tell the world that God loves them just as they are and that He doesn't mind what they are doing! How many ways can one twist the Scriptures to suit their own purposes? Why would a "man of the cloth" even want to twist God's Word? Don't they realize that, no matter what, God never changes? He doesn't cater to "modern ideas", or "go with the popular flow", or cave in to the majority vote.

Being "gay" is one thing; but acting on it - especially if you're a priest or pastor - is another. No matter how much you try to justify your behavior, you know you're guilty of sinning. And what does God say about sinning?

Revelation 3:15 - "I know what you are doing: you are neither cold nor hot. How I wish you were either one or the other! 16 So, because you are lukewarm, neither cold not hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth!

Revelation 22:14-16: How blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they have the right to eat from the Tree of Life and go through the gates into the city! 15 Outside are the homosexuals, those who misuse drugs in connection with the occult, the sexually immoral, murderers, idol-worshippers, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10: "Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters, nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Thessalonians 4:3: For this is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality....

1 Corinthians 6: 18-20: Flee immorality. Every other sin that a man commits is outside the body, but the immoral man sins against his own body. Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

Ephesians 5:11-13: Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. For it is shameful even to mention what is done in secret. But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible.

These are but a few of the many Scriptures that talk about the abomination of homosexuality and immorality, in general. God made it very clear that He hates homosexuality (a word, which, by the way, DOES include lesbians - thus rendering invalid the lesbians' interpretation of "homosexuals" being only men). God said it in various ways, including that the two sexes weren't to wear each other's clothes:

Deuteronomy 22:5 "A woman shall not wear man's clothing, nor shall a man put on a woman's clothing; for whoever does these things is an abomination to the LORD your God.

Furthermore, God places sexually active homosexuals on the same level as murderers and liars:

1 Tim 1:9-11 - 9 We are aware that Torah is not for a person who is righteous, but for those who are heedless of Torah and rebellious, ungodly and sinful, wicked and worldly, for people who kill their fathers and mothers, for murderers, 10 the sexually immoral - both heterosexual and homosexual - slave dealers, liars, perjurers, and anyone who acts contrary to the sound teaching 11 that accords with the Good News of the Glorious and blessed God.

Deuteronomy speaks about "abomination" referring to "idolatry":

Idolatry is: 1. the worship of a physical object as a god. 2. immoderate attachment or devotion to something. 3. in Judaism and Christianity, the worship of someone or something other than God as though it were God. The first of the biblical Ten Commandments prohibits idolatry: "You shall have no other gods ...

Anything can be an idol to us if we attach more significance to the thing than to God: money, power, possessions, our bodies, our "significant others", sex.

Sex is not a necessity such as food, water, and shelter. It is a choice.

Sex outside of marriage, outside of the way God condones it, is an ABOMINATION to God! If we live our lives according to our sex drives, it is an IDOL. God made man and woman to fit perfectly together in the sexual realm. People of the same sex cannot possibly have sex in the God-approved way. They have to use objects or invent ways to "do their thing" in order to replace "the natural".

The bottom line is, what the openly gay "clergy" are doing is no different from the antics of secular television and movies that have been doing their best to promote the "homosexuality is normal" idea. Yes, God might "love the sinner", but He does NOT condone their lifestyles - no matter HOW they might try to justify them....They might be able to fool themselves and other gullible people, but God knows exactly what they are doing!

You can twist scripture however you want to suit your needs, but God can't be fooled:

Matthew 7:21 It will not be that just anyone who says to me "My master, my master." Will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, but whoever does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22. Many will say to me in that day, "My master, my master. By your name, have we not prophesied? And by you name have we cast out demons? And by your name have we done many miracles?" 23. And then I will profess to them that from everlasting, I have not known you. Depart from me, you workers of iniquity! (AENT)

Several "gays" and advocates for "gay rights" (such as Pastor Jimmy Creech) have responded to The Refiner's Fire to tell us we are "intolerant, arrogant hypocrites who push fear and ignorance" because we insist that homosexuality is a sin. If being Biblical is "arrogant and intolerant", then we are certainly guilty because we have chosen to follow GOD instead of man. And God plainly tells us we are to rebuke those who present false teachings:

Titus 3: 10 Warn a divisive person once, then a second time; and after that, have nothing more to do with him. 11 You may be sure that such a person has been perverted and is sinning: he stands self-condemned.

Romans 16: 17 I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put snares alongside the teaching in which you have been trained; keep away from them. 18 For men like these are not serving our Lord the Messiah but their own belly; by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the innocent. 19 For everyone has heard about your obedience; therefore I rejoice over you. However, I want you to be wise concerning good, but innocent concerning evil. 20 And God, the source of shalom, will soon crush the Adversary under your feet.

Titus 1: 11 For God's grace, which brings deliverance, has appeared to all people. 12 It teaches us to renounce godless and worldly pleasure, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives now, in this age; 13 while continuing to expect the blessed fulfillment of our certain hope, which is the appearing of the Sh'khinah of our great God and the appearing of our Deliverer, Yeshua the Messiah. 14 He gave himself up on our behalf in order to free us from all violation of Torah and purify for himself a people who would be his own, eager to do good. 15 These are the things you should say. Encourage and rebuke with full authority; don't let anyone look down on you.

YHWH says that we don't even need to pray for those who deliberately ignore Him:

Jeremiah 11: 6 ADONAI said to me, "Proclaim all these words in the cities of Y'hudah and in the streets of Yerushalayim: 'Listen to the words of this covenant, and obey them. 7 For I solemnly warned your ancestors at the time when I brought them out of the land of Egypt; and until this day I have frequently warned them, "Listen to my voice!" 8 But they have not listened or paid attention; instead, each one has lived according to the stubbornness of his own evil heart. For this reason I have brought upon them all the words of this covenant, which I ordered them to obey, but which they did not obey.'" 9 Then ADONAI said to me, "The men of Y'hudah and the people living in Yerushalayim have formed a conspiracy.

10 They have returned to the sins of their ancestors, who refused to hear my words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them. The house of Isra'el and the house of Y'hudah have broken my covenant which I made with their ancestors." 11 Therefore ADONAI says, "I am going to bring on them a disaster which they will not be able to escape; and even if they cry to me, I will not listen to them. 12 Then the cities of Y'hudah and the people living in Yerushalayim will go and cry to the gods to whom they are making offerings; but they will not save them at all in their time of trouble. 13 For you have as many gods, Y'hudah, as you have towns; and you have erected as many altars for sacrificing to that shameful thing, Ba'al, as there are streets in Yerushalayim. 14 "So you, [Yirmeyahu,] don't pray for this people! Don't cry or pray on their behalf, because I won't listen to them when they cry to me because of their troubles. (CJB)
