The hallmark of false teachers is to teach you, not necessarily God's Truth; but rather, THEIR opinions. Unfortunately, these types are often successful because people don't bother to check the Scriptures for themselves....

Here's what we mean....

Cruise the 'net and you'll see endless arguments and fights among pastors, rabbis, priests and various self-proclaimed teachers, each making endless charges and allegations that are often unfounded and based on mere opinion instead of the Bible. So, we ask that as you read through the articles below, you don't blindly believe what we espouse; but rather, seek the Holy Spirit and use lots of discernment, and then make up your own mind. It doesn't give us pleasure to expose false teachers and their teachings, but the thing is, unless someone explains biblically WHY they are false, how can those new to Scripture possibly know what to watch out for?

False teachers and prophets are people who either want us to believe they are the Messiah, or "special" disciples, prophets or apostles who have "new knowledge" about God or the Bible to impart to the world - even though what they espouse doesn't line up with the Bible. Especially heinous are the "prophets" and "date setters" who insist the "rapture" is going to occur on a certain date, etc., and those who have visions "from Jesus" telling the world to repent or risk hell - things we already know, packaged in new verbiage.

False teachers also include those "believers" who twist Scripture to suit their own agendas, such as the ungodly rantings and bashings against Torah observant believers of the Joyfully Growing in Grace blog (exposed on our website); or the pro-homosexual website, Would Jesus Discriminate? which suggests that Jesus ministered to "gays" and that God condones homosexuality! The problem is, many actually fall for the unbiblical nonsense like this....

Jeremiah 14: 14 YHWH replied, "The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I didn't send them, order them or speak to them. They are prophesying false visions to you, worthless divinations, the delusions of their own minds....

Matthew 22: 14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

In other words: Not everyone receives "special words" or revelations from God! We must not listen to people who espouse strange things that do not line up with the Bible. We are to confront those types to let them know they are off the path and, if ultimately they refuse to heed, ignore them and put them out of your life for good, for they do NOT belong to Yahweh; they are working for the enemy....

Matthew 18: 16. And if he does not listen to you, take with you one or two others, because of the mouth of two or three witnesses, every word is established. 17. And if he will also not listen to them, tell the congregation. And if he will also not listen to the congregation, let him be to you like a tax collector and like a heathen.

Matthew 24:11 Many false prophets will appear and fool many people; 12 and many people's love will grow cold because of increased distance from Torah. 13 But whoever holds out till the end will be delivered. 14 And this Good News about the Kingdom will be announced throughout the whole world as a witness to all the Goyim. It is then that the end will come.

Scripture amply warns us about false teachers and prophets....

2 Timothy 4:3-4: For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander off into myths.

1 Timothy 5:20 - Those who sin, before all rebuke that the rest of the people may fear.

Titus 1:13... Therefore rebuke them sharply that they may be sound in the faith ...

Ephesians 5:11-13: Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.

The problem is, many get their "Eureka!" moments from off-the-mark websites created by other Christians who found their way to Torah (or by Jews who have "found Jesus"), and suddenly, we have the blind leading the blind - and they will fight you to the death to shove their respective views down the world's collective throat, regardless as to how many scriptures they are presented to prove them wrong. These people simply are NOT willing to listen to reason, no matter what you say or do, because they believe they already "know it all."

Corinthians 1:17-31: But Elohim has chosen the foolish ones of the world to shame the wise; and He has chosen the weak ones of the world to shame the mighty; and He has chosen those of humble birth in the world, and the despised, and them who are nothing, to bring to nothing them who are something: So that no flesh might glory before him.. And you, moreover, are of him in Y'shua Mashiyach; who has become to us wisdom from Elohim, and righteousness and separateness, and salvation: According to that which is written: "He that glorifies in himself, let him glory in our Master (Y'shua)." False teachers and prophets in the Messianic and Hebrew Roots faith:

Like Christianity, the "Hebrew Roots" and Messianic faiths are severely splintered because, once some people find their way to Torah, they suddenly believe themselves to be all-knowing experts and Bible scholars! Consequently, instead of simply coming together to discuss the beauty of YHWH/Yeshua/Torah, they sit around arguing the proper calendar to use in the keeping of the Feast Times (the Rabbinic calendar, the Enoch calendar, conjunction, the sighting the new sliver where you live, the sighting the new sliver only in Jerusalem, etc.), or they give you a tongue lashing over the proper keeping of the Seventh Day Sabbath according to THEIR respective thinking. Or they'll tell you that you will go to hell if you don't use their preferred English transliteration of the Hebrew Sacred Names...On and on it goes, ad nauseum!

Some Hebrew Roots types also teach that God condones polygyny, while others insist Y'shua was NOT Divine; and still others market themselves as prophets - even though they have a history of failed prophecies. And some - such as Yakov Levi of Solomon's Porch (who is a raving polygynist who INSISTS men are to have multiple wives!) - will fight you to the death to prove that YHWH's weekly Shabbat is determined by the New Moon each month, rather than by the continuous counting of seven days. Please read our article to discover why the "lunar Shabbat" is lunar-cy!

One of the saddest things about these Messianic teachers is that they have resorted to anti-Torah tactics when disagreeing with their brethren. And, instead of employing the Matthew 18 method of taking a couple of witnesses to confront accusers, they simply post vicious lashon hara (gossip) all over the Internet in hopes of turning others against them. You'll know these types when you come across them, because they stand out like sore thumbs!

There is also now a whole new "movement" in the works: Leading people away from Yeshua and the New Testament! Usually led by "traditional Jews/Jewish "anti-missionaries" and Messianic/Hebrew Roots types who have become blinded to the WHOLE Truth, many Christians are suddenly "finding" their way to Torah-only idea, because they have "discovered the new truth" that Yeshua is not the Messiah (or, at the very least, that He was not divine); and that the New Testament (and especially the writings of Paul) is bogus. Instead of reading the Bible from cover to cover for the sake of CONTEXT, with the help of the Holy Spirit, many are ready, willing and able to have their "ears tickled" by false teachers....

Believers, PLEASE continue to be aware of lying signs and wonders (click to watch this video!) offered by the many false teachers and "prophets" of today, and begin reading the Bible for yourself, IN CONTEXT! Stop following "man" and start following the commandments of Yahweh our Elohim and the teachings of His Divine Son, Yeshua who offered Himself unto death on your behalf. Nothing else matters. If something doesn't line up perfectly with the Bible, then it isn't of God. Satan is busy deceiving because he knows how The Book ends!!!

Jeremiah 17: 5 Here is what ADONAI says: "A curse on the person who trusts in humans, who relies on merely human strength, whose heart turns away from ADONAI. 6 He will be like a tamarisk in the 'Aravah - when relief comes, it is unaffected; for it lives in the sun-baked desert, in salty, uninhabited land. 7 Blessed is the man who trusts in ADONAI; ADONAI will be his security.

The following articles represent just a TINY sampling of some of the junk that is being taught....

...by those who either don't realize they're off the mark, or are deliberately out to deceive the world. Our intention for exposing them is NOT to be "mean"; but, rather, to show everyone how and why these people are off the mark when it comes to God and the Bible, so that you can begin learning to detect what to watch out for. Whether you choose to "follow" these teachers or not, is strictly up to you. Just strive to always verify in Scripture EVERYTHING you see, read or hear (including what we espouse on this website)!

It is imperative to realize that it's not all about "us" or what "we" think; it's all about GOD and what HE commanded!

We certainly do not wish, nor have the right to sit in judgment of anyone; but as Torah observant believers in the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, we must live by His Word and not be afraid to point out when public figures speak or behave in a way that blatantly goes against Torah. God only knows, we ALL fall short of the glory of God and are guilty of sinning (Romans 3:23) ... but we should NEVER downplay the seriousness of those sins!

What is a false prophet and how you can tell?

False prophets and teachers within the Messianic/Netzarim Faith:

Self-proclaimed "scholars" and "prophets" who are leading others astray:

And then there are the UFO cults....

2 Peter 2: 1. But in the world there have been also false prophets, as there will likewise be false teachers among you who will bring in destructive heresies denying Master YHWH that bought them; thus bringing on themselves swift destruction.

Matthew 24: 24. For false Messiahs and lying prophets will arise and they will produce signs and great wonders in order to deceive if possible even the chosen.

1 Timothy 1: 5. Now the goal of the command is love which is from a pure heart and from a good conscience and from true Faith. 6. But from these some have strayed and have turned aside to vain words; 7. because they wished to be teachers of Torah, while they understood not what they speak, nor the thing about which they contend. 8. Now we know, that Torah is a good thing if a man conduct himself in it according to Torah; 9. he knowing that Torah was not established for the righteous but for the evil and the rebellious, and those without Elohim, and the sinful, and the perverse and for the impure, and for smiters of their fathers and smiters of their mothers, and for murderers, 10. and for sexual sinners and for copulators with males, and for the stealers of free people, and for liars, and for violators of oaths, and for whatever is contrary to sound doctrine.

2 Timothy 3:1 But know this: That in the latter days hard times will come: 2. and men will be lovers of themselves and lovers of money, boasters, proud, revilers, unyielding towards their own people, deniers of grace, wicked, 3. unloving, addicted to irreconcilable malicious gossips, ferocious, haters of the good, 4. treacherous, rash, inflated, attached to pleasure more than to the love of Elohim, 5. having a form of respect for Elohim but wide from the power of Elohim. Them who are such, repel from you. 6. For of them are they who creep into this and that house and captivate the women who are plunged in sins and led away by divers lusts, 7. who are always learning, and can never come to the knowledge of the truth.

Matthew 7: 20 "...So you will recognize them by their fruit. 21 Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the Kingdom of Heaven, only those who do what my Father in heaven wants. 22 On that Day, many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord! Didn't we prophesy in your name? Didn't we expel demons in your name? Didn't we perform many miracles in your name?' 23 Then I will tell them to their faces, 'I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!'...."

Acts 20: 29. For I know, that after I am gone, fierce wolves will come in among you, and will have no mercy on the flock. 30. And also, from among yourselves, there will rise up men speaking perverse things, that they may turn away the disciples to go after them. 31. Therefore be vigilant;
