Pornography, adultery, explicit sex scenes in movies, etc. are rampant today. Nobody even flinches at those topics anymore! It doesn't seem to bother anyone that homosexuality - like every other sin - is being filtered and "watered down"; and become viewed as NORMAL! Many churches, including the Catholic Church, have given in to the push by the Homosexual Lobby to "normalize" an act that calls an "abomination" (Leviticus 18:22, Revelation 22:14-15, etc.).

But the bottom line is, we cannot engage in deliberate sin of ANY kind (as outlined in our article on sexual immorality) and insist at the same time that we belong to God (Hebrews 10:26). We must make a choice: God, or our preferred lifestyle. We have the choice to do whatever we wish, but we CANNOT change what God commanded and we CANNOT pretend we belong to Him if we refuse to obey Him!

It's okay to be "gay" if one is "in the world" and doesn't care what God commands. However, we cannot INSIST that He accepts homosexuality today, because that is NOT what the Bible says! We cannot change the fact that Scripture tells us HE considers it an "abomination"! YHWH didn't change His mind about His definition of SIN just because man has decided sinning is a GOOD thing and "the Bible is outdated!" Murder, adultery, lying, cheating and hatred didn't become "good" just because "modern man" has seemingly become immune to these sins, thanks to Hollywood and the advent of computers ... So what suddenly makes homosexuality "okay"?

There are very few people who understand that is God and that to please Him, we MUST live according to His Torah. Former lesbians, Tamra and Eve, grew to realize this fact, and after much agonizing and undergoing every emotion imaginable (including anger at their former church where they were told God condones homosexuality), they ultimately came to the conclusion that their love for God and desire to do His Will was greater than their love for each other.

Overcoming their earthly natures, Tamra and Eve stopped the sinning and began living together as "just sisters" as outlined in Carmen Welker's book, Free to Sin. Free to Sin reveals how one can come out of sin of ANY kind, and it dares to take on the various misguided ideas about God and the Bible espoused by Oprah and certain Christian pastors who push the lie that "God is okay with homosexuality."

WHAT WE ARE SAYING IS THIS: He loves ALL of us, but once we have accepted Him as our God, He expects us to TURN FROM our sins, and begin living according to HIS Divine Rules. Whether YOU choose to accept or reject His Rules is strictly up to you. We are merely pointing out what Scripture says.

We at The Refiner's Fire despise false, hypocritical or "lukewarm" Biblical teachings, smut on television and in theaters, terrorism, anti-Semitism and anti-Israel or anti-Jewish sentiment, etc., and our most fervent desire to guide the world back to YHWH and His Divine Instructions.

In light of the decadence permeating the world, we have been compiling a collection of contemporary articles which challenge the idea that in today's society we must be tolerant of any kind of decadent behavior, "alternative lifestyles" or religions that either do not adhere to the whole of the BIBLE, or which have somehow twisted the Word. Because the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the ONLY God; because the other two "major world religions" (Christianity and Islam) both "borrowed from" and "added to or subtracted" from the Torah; and because nearly 300+ Bible prophecies have already come and there are just a few more to go....

In other words, we are urging believers to grow a backbone and begin standing up for Biblical Truth and righteousness! Isaiah 5:20 says: Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet, and sweet into bitter! Today, what God considers "good" is mocked because evil has begun to permeate modern society - and we are literally falling apart at the seams. We are therefore urging the world to STOP following the teachings of MAN, and check for themselves what the Bible actually says.
